  • Also known as a retroactive date, is simply how far back in your policy is willing to cover. With few exceptions, this feature is unique to E&O policies.

    Example - If your policy is effective 1/1/2024 with a retroactive date of 1/1/1999, your policy will cover a claim that occurred 1/3/2005.

    Usually, the older the retroactive date, the higher the premium.

  • All businesses are at risk of error. This policy indemnifies against such expenses.

    If you provide your client with bad advice, and are sued, this policy will cover your legal fees up to the policy limits.
